Around Millmerran it's mostly industrial and maintenance storage, timber and building materials kept off the ground, farm workshop stores, and secure gear storage on grazing country running west towards the Condamine. Industrial maintenance runs on having the right thing on site at the right hour, and on being able to lock it up when the crew goes home. A 40ft with racking is a very common answer, and a hired unit for the length of a shutdown is an even more common one.

Sawn timber stored badly is money thrown away — ground contact, sheet water and sun will do more damage in one summer than years of proper storage. A container with the doors facing away from the weather, blocked up level, with the stack on bearers and a bit of airflow through it, keeps timber in the condition you bought it in.
The airflow part matters more than people think. Sealed steel with green or freshly milled timber inside it will sweat, and the timber will bloom. Vents at both ends, or leave the doors cracked and locked open on dry days.
The Gore Highway run in is easy and the town itself is uncomplicated. Off the bitumen the country is mixed — some good firm going through the timbered blocks, some heavy soil that behaves like the rest of the Downs after rain. Industrial and maintenance sites out this way tend to have proper hardstand and no access problem at all, which makes them among the quicker deliveries we do. For the rural jobs, the usual questions apply: recent rain, gate widths, and what's overhead on the approach.
Everything else is universal — weight-bearing footing, a lined-up run, and clear space above the placement point. Any doubt on those is best resolved with photographs rather than measurements over the phone. The access guide has the lot.
